Alfredo Parés Salas is a summa cum laude attorney graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 2001 and Specialist in Administrative Law, honors mention, from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2005. He is a holder of a Legum Magister degree, issued in 2007 by the prestigious German University Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg, as a Scholar of the DAAD-Fundayacucho Program. He has also furthered studies of Management and Marketing for Attorneys, 2012 (CIAP-UCAB), acted as a guest participant of the International Visitors Leadership Program: Administration of Justice, 2011 (Alumni of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs del U.S. Department of State) and participated in the Telecommunications Law and Information Society Summer Course, 2003 (Universidad Complutense de Madrid/Scholar of Fundación General).

Since 2007 he has been a Professor at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas. He is currently teaching Administrative Law I and has been a Professor of Administrative Procedure in the Post Graduate Program of Administrative Law and the Seminar of Constitutional Law of the same university. He has authored several specialized publications in the area of public law.

Alfredo Parés Salas is partner of Muci-Abraham & Asociados and has been a member since 2001. Academically, in addition to his teaching experience, he acted as Director of the School of Law of the Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, Secretary of the Faculty Council and member of the Editorial Council of Law School Magazine (2007-2012).

In his professional years, he has advised clients in matters of public law and their relation to administrative agencies that regulate the most diverse economic sectors, as well as through his representation in judicial actions pertaining to constitutionality, contentious-administrative and taxes. His exercise concentrates on issues related to public law, in areas such as consumer and user protection, free competition, the rendering of public services, sector regulations in matters of air transportation, banking, insurance and shareholder protections, telecommunications, customs and taxes, among others.
