Mariauxiliadora Riera Briceño is an attorney graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 1986. She is also the holder of a post graduate degree in Commercial Law “Commercial Entities and Contracts” (1988). At Universidad Central de Venezuela she finished a course in Civil Procedural Law in 1998.
Mariauxiliadora Riera Briceño has been a partner in Muci-Abraham & Asociados since 2003. Before becoming a partner of the firm, she practiced as an attorney at the Legal Offices of Álvarez Domínguez & Asociados (1999-2003) and the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (1995-1999), representing the Republic in judicial and extra judicial matters in complex issues.
She has ample experience advising clients in the areas of commercial and civil law, particularly family issues, as well as in the defense of their rights and interests in trial. In the litigation area, her practice has concentrated in bankruptcy and moratorium procedures as well as in matters pertaining to family law, leases, executive trials and commercial arbitration.
